Server Rules

Rules Are Subject to Change Common sense is required at all times. By playing on EarthStonks, you agree to these rules. Ignorance is not an excuse. Staff instructions are final — if you disagree with a punishment, open a ticket in Discord. Do not argue in global chat.

General Conduct

Respect & Harassment

Zero tolerance for bullying, hate speech, or harassment. Treat all players and staff with respect.

Punishment: Warning → Temp Ban → Perm Ban

Chat Etiquette

  • No spamming, flooding, or excessive caps
  • Keep public chat English-only for moderation purposes
  • No bypassing the chat filter

Punishment: Mute → Temp Ban

Advertising

Do not advertise other servers or unsolicited social media. You may post your own content in the designated #media channel in Discord only.

Punishment: Mute → Ban

Account Security & Impersonation

  • Do not impersonate staff or other players
  • No Alt-Farming: You may have alt accounts, but using them to farm events, daily rewards, or evade bans is prohibited

Punishment: Ban

Privacy (Doxxing)

Releasing private information — real names, addresses, IPs — of any player is an immediate Permanent Ban.

Gameplay & Economy

Real Money Trading (RMT)

Buying or selling in-game items, accounts, or currency for real-world money is strictly forbidden.

Punishment: Permanent Ban + Economy Wipe

Cheating & Exploits

  • Hacking: X-Ray, Fly, Killaura, Auto-Clickers, or macros — Permanent Ban
  • Glitching: Do not abuse bugs (e.g., item duping). Report them immediately for a reward

Punishment: Permanent Ban

Lag Machines

Intentionally causing server lag — massive redstone clocks, entity spam, chunk loaders — is prohibited. Staff reserve the right to remove laggy builds without refund.

Towny Rules

  • Claim Blocking: You may not claim land specifically to block another town's expansion (snake-claiming)
  • Appropriate Names: Town and Nation names must be PG-13
  • Wilderness: The Wilderness is a lawless zone. Griefing and PvP are allowed outside of town claims. Secure your items!

Siege & War Rules

Siege Conduct

  • Banner Placement: Siege banners must be placed in an accessible location. You cannot obstruct the banner with blocks or hide it in a hole or sky base
  • Siege Immunity Abuse: Creating fake towns to force Siege Immunity on your main town is considered exploiting
  • Point Feeding: Intentionally losing to an enemy to boost their war score is prohibited

Encirclement

Surrounding a town completely with your own claims to prevent them from expanding or escaping is illegal. You must leave at least one side open for travel.

PvP & Camping

  • Spawn Camping: Excessive spawn killing of new players with no gear is prohibited
  • PvP Timer: Do not log out to escape combat. The combat tag plugin will kill you instantly if you disconnect while tagged

Allowed Modifications

Allowed Mods Optifine / Sodium / Iris (performance mods) · Shaders · Minimaps (must NOT show cave systems or players) · Schematica / Litematica (Printer Mode DISABLED) · Armor & Status HUDs · Brightness / Gamma mods
Banned Mods X-Ray Packs or Mods · Auto-Clickers / Macros · Hack Clients (any) · Inventory Tweaks with Auto-Refill · Freecam in methods that benefit mining or PvP

Using unauthorized mods puts your account at risk. When in doubt, ask a staff member before installing anything.
